Butte County Historical Society Museum

Founded in 1956, the Society preserves the history of Butte County. The Society's headquarters are located in the historic Ehmann Home in Oroville. Memberships are only $20/year which includes lectures, field trips, museum and quarterly historical publication, the Diggins. Call (530) 533-9418 or write P.O. Box 2195, Oroville, CA 95965.
This figurine is actually housed in the Chinese Temple in Oroville. Butte County Historical Society is tasked with preserving local history. The Chinese played a huge role in providing labor to this area.
